The Lorehaven Rules
«The land is old and patient. It remembers what you do in it.»
Lorehaven is a world for old-school, casual players. To keep it a good place for everyone, every player accepts these rules. They follow the old Tibia Rules of the 7.4 days, adapted to our world. The team may act against any behaviour that harms the game, the website or the people in it, even if it is not written here word for word.
1. Names
- Offensive name – insulting, racist, sexual, drug-related, harassing or otherwise objectionable names.
- Advertising name – names that advertise brands, products, other servers, or trades for real money.
- Unsuitable name – names with religious or political views, or that do not fit a fantasy world.
- Name supporting a rule violation – names that announce, support or invite breaking these rules.
- Impersonation – pretending to be a gamemaster, the team or another well-known player.
2. Statements
- Offensive statements – insulting, racist, sexual, drug-related or harassing talk, in game or on the website.
- Spamming – repeating the same or nonsense text again and again.
- Forbidden advertising – other servers, unrelated products, account or item trades for real money.
- Off-topic public statements – religious or political statements in public channels.
- Disclosing personal data of other people.
- Supporting a rule violation – announcing, inviting or helping others to break these rules.
3. Cheating
- Bug abuse – using obvious errors in the game or the website. Report bugs to a gamemaster (Ctrl+R) instead.
- X-logging – logging out or dropping the connection to escape a fight or a danger counts as bug abuse.
- Unofficial software – bots, macros, auto-healers, «taskers», modified clients or any setup that plays for you, including physical key-pressers. Every action must be made by you, by hand, with the Lorehaven client.
- Multi-clienting – only one character may be online at a time per person. Playing several characters at once, on one computer or several, is not allowed.
The watchers never sleep. Lorehaven has an advanced bot-detection system. It is patient: it gathers, compares and waits. A banishment may come long after the cheating – days, often weeks later. That a cheat seems to work today means nothing.
4. Fraud and trading for money
- Pretending to be the team – claiming to be a gamemaster or to speak for the team, especially to trick or threaten others.
- False information – lying in reports, complaints or bug reports to harm others or to escape a punishment.
- Real-money trading – selling or buying characters, accounts, items, gold, points or premium time for real money or anything outside the game is not allowed.
- Scamming other players by tricks in trades is your risk to watch for – but deceiving them with false promises of the team or of real-money deals is a rule violation.
5. Hacking and the servers
- Account theft – stealing, sharing or using other players' accounts or personal data, or spreading links meant to steal them. If you happen to learn another player's password, tell them so they can change it.
- Attacking the service – attacking, disrupting or overloading the game server, the website or their network.
- Account sharing happens at your own risk; the team does not restore what a shared account loses.

The team decides every case on its own. Ignorance of the rules is no excuse. Current banishments are listed under Banishments.
